The document below was the final submission of my Undergraduate Degree from Quest University.
It grew out of an earlier essay, [[What is Don Quixote? Sand on the Banks of the River Tagus]], written as the final paper for Curt Wasson’s 2018 seminar on [*Don Quixote*](https://3200universityblvd.com/Syllabus/2018/Spring/2018%20Spring%20B2%20Don%20Quixote%20WASSON%20Curtis.pdf).
My keystone was nominated for a distinction award by my mentor, Shira Weidenbaum, largely for the deep and rigorous revision process I used in the writing. Shira graciously read at least nine wildly different drafts of this essay.
If there’s one take away from the year I spent studying *Don Quixote*, it’s that everyone should [[What translation of Don Quixote should I read?|read it]].
